A pixel in a digital image is like a moment in time - it almost seems so insignificant, but it is with these tiny squares, that beautiful images are formed.

My name is May and I have a Fine Arts degree from University of Florida. Currently, I am located in central Flroida. I am not just someone who takes photos; I am an artist. I discover the unseen beauty hidden within mundane scenery; I capture the moments in people's lives that would have otherwise been lost; I bring out the emotions of a still image using my artistic skills. The phrase "pixel shaker" is a fun description of what I do, because modern technology allows me to fully express my creativity through the manipulation of the pixels.

My creative journey started with drawing when I was very young. I was especially interested in drawing people, capturing the emotions transmitted through their postures and expressions. From drawing, I extended my interests to coloring and painting. During my college years, I purchased my first Digital SLR camera and fell in love with the art of picture taking. Years of illustration practice gave me a good sense of composition and a solid understanding of colors, both of which helped me find my personal photography style.
